3 Things I’d Do If I Was Just Diagnosed With Hashimoto’s
Hey there, fellow Hashimoto's warriors! Today, let's talk about the top three steps I'd take if I were just diagnosed with Hashimoto's.
First up, I'd make it a priority to monitor my antibodies every three months. Checking your TPO and thyroglobulin antibodies regularly allows you to see how your efforts are impacting your Hashimoto's. If what you're doing is working, keep at it. If not, it's time to pivot and try something new.
Next on the list is incorporating either glutathione or low dose naltrexone (LDN) into your routine. Glutathione, known as the body's most potent antioxidant, fights inflammation—the main driver of autoimmune diseases like Hashimoto's. LDN, on the other hand, helps reduce inflammation regardless of its source, effectively dialing down the volume on your immune system's response. I've personally witnessed LDN slash antibodies by 500 points in just three months, so it's definitely worth considering.
Last but certainly not least, I'd revamp my diet. Whether it's going gluten-free, dairy-free, or committing to intermittent fasting for 90 days, making dietary changes can have a profound impact on managing Hashimoto's. Experiment with different approaches and pay close attention to how your body responds. The goal is to find the combination of tools that work uniquely for you in your journey to reverse Hashimoto's.
Remember, managing Hashimoto's is a journey, not a destination. Stay patient, stay persistent, and don't hesitate to seek support from a healthcare provider who truly understands your needs. Together, we've got this! 💪 #HashimotosWarrior #ThyroidHealth #AutoimmuneAwareness
